About Me

This is what I do.
An Interactive Web Developer with a Passion for Creativity

I am a versatile, bilingual professional and programmer, based in San Francisco Bay Area. I am passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration, team building, searching for clean solutions, graphic design, algorithms, database, as well as breaking the Silicon Valley stereotype. I highly value knowledge as it is the only thing that cannot be taken away from me; therefore, I constantly strive to learn something new every day and acquire new skill sets in order to achieve personal and entrepreneurial growth. My greatest joy comes from being around like-minded individuals working towards a common goal.

My educational background includes a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley. I entered the professional world as an Assistant Paralegal in the law industry. My professional work experience and educational focus grant me invaluable skill set and strengths grounded in logic, problem solving, critical thinking, research, and meticulous attention to detail.

I have always had a deep passion for technology and decided to jumpstart my career by enrolling at Dev Bootcamp. During my experience at coding bootcamp, I dedicated over 1,000 hours across 21 weeks developing web apps on Sinatra, Rails, and React, overcoming challenges with effective verbal communication and teamwork through pair programming and meaningful ASK (Actionable, Specific, and Kind) feedback, and gaining invaluable soft skills through learning and practicing Engineering Empathy.

Ultimately, I would like to use my experience and skills to not only build meaningful and impactful technologies, but also motivate other women to pursue technology and engineering careers and increase the representation of female engineers in the technology industry.

I am originally from the Philippines, so I try to take advantage of everything the Bay Area has to offer. When I am not working or studying, I am most likely exploring hidden gems and nature, eating my way through every beautiful city in the Bae, and dancing salsa or hip hop with my friends.

Let's get in touch! I would love to hear from you.
